About Branson
Nestled in the scenic plains of southern Colorado near the New Mexico border, Branson is a tight-knit community with a rich history. Established in 1918, Branson was once a bustling agricultural hub with a population of over 1,000. Today, it remains the southernmost town in Colorado, with a population of just 58 residents as of 2025. Despite its small size, Branson boasts a vibrant community spirit, with ranching families and newcomers alike drawn to its peaceful surroundings and strong local connections.
